About 10mm clear tempered glass

10mm clear tempered glass (also call 10mm clear toughend glass, 10mm clear full tempered glass) is fabricated by heating annealed glass to over 600°C and cooling it rapidly. 10mm tempered glass is not easy to be broken when attacked. Even when glass broken, broken glass particle is of honeycomb shape with obtuse angles which won't cause severe hurt to humen body. It is a safety glass which is used when strength, thermal resistance and safety are important considerations. 

Characteristics of 10mm clear tempered glass

1. 3-5 times harder than ordinary float glass
2. Once breakage occurs, the glass disintegrates into honeycomb shape with obtuse angles, which are relatively harmless to human body.
3. Thermal stability of tempered glass is three time higher than that of float glass of the same thicness. Tempered glass can withstand sudden temperature shift of  250 to 320℃ while float glass can only withstand shift of  20 to 100℃.
4. Sizes are produced as per customer request.
