Vietnam Da Nang International Airport
Vietnam Da Nang Airport is a military-civilian international airport located in Da Nang,the largest city in central Vietnam.It is about 2 kilometers away from the city center.Due to local government policies,Da Nang Airport does not have buses returning to the city,and the journey to the city is not far. so it's usually a taxi or a scheduled airp ort transfer service.The airport is operated and managed by Vietnam Airport Co.Ltd.which provides air services to Da Nang City.It is the third largest airport in Vietnam and the third busiest airport in Vietnam.
The construction of the new terminal building of Da Nang International Airport started at the end of 2007.After nearly three months of intense construction,the project was completed half a month earlier than the required time.The total usable area is 36,600 square meters.It costs 84 million dollars,covers an area of 20,000 square meters,and can accommodate 4 million passengers per year.The new passenger terminal of the airport was put into use on December 15,2011.
The terminal building includes 3 floors above ground and 1 floor underground.The second floor of Da Nang Airport is the departure check-in counter.After completing the check-in procedures,there are shopping shops in the terminal building that sell local specialties and duty-free shops.Although there are not many luxury goods,the prices are also good.duty-free shops and good prices,though not many luxury items.There are many restaurants and shopping stores in the terminal building with complete facilities.
As da Nang city's main air gateway,Da Nang Airport mainly operates regular domestic,regional and international passenger and cargo routes.Every day,the airport has a large number of domestic flights to Hanoi,Ho Chi Minh City,Nha Trang and other cities in Vietnam.At the same time,the airport's international routes are open to Singapore,Seoul,Hong Kong,Macau and Kuala Lumpur.In 2013,Da Nang International Airport handled more than 4.4 million passengers,14,000 tons of cargo and mail,and 17,000 takeoffs and landings.In 2014,the annual passenger throughput of Da Nang International Airport reached 5 million passengers.In 2016,the airport served 8,783,428 people with a large flow of people.
